I think my alpaca needs a longer nose and wider face. Thank you Scott for these videos! This was another challenge for me
Really enjoying Drawing Together. Really look forward to it during Covid stay-at-home
This was one of my favorites.
Forgot to add: mixed media paper does not erase well. Just fyi.
I thought I’d go back and try some earlier ones. Charcoal on mixed media paper – And he kinda looks like a Dandie Dinmont Terrier ?.
I named my alpaca “Keith” because he kind of has the attitude and the haircut of Keith Richards.
Thank you Scott and Mary. ?
Wonderful texture here. Nice value control as well! Thank you for sharing this!
This looks great! I don’t think the angle of the head looks off much at all!
This is beautiful
I thoroughly enjoyed this class and am learning a lot about drawing. Missed the bit about getting the angle of the head right, didn’t I!! Didn’t have charcoal implements either. Would have made a difference in getting the value contrast.
This was just fun to do! I did go back and fix his cheeks a bit…shaded up on one side and down on the other,
Beautiful work! I’m glad you are enjoying the lessons. I love the value control in this drawing, especially in the shadow areas. Excellent edge work as well!
Wonderful work here! I love the softness of the wool that you were able to capture!
Here’s my alpaca. Just finished him today. Charcaol pencil #2 and #4 on plain copy paper.
Really enjoyed doing this one! I can’t thank you enough for doing these tutorials, Scott! They’ve been invaluable!
