could go on forever with this and correcting as I go. I have enough detail to share this for now since It’s an Exercise Drawing.
Very nice work!
I spotted a pair of owls a few days before, and was very pleased that the Drawing Together session would be an owl. Had a great time sketching the owl with you, though it was looking like a ghost for most of the sketch! Thank you very much for the session. I used graphite on A4 sketching paper.
I had to keep trying to get this owl to appear, didn’t give up and here he is and I feel better. For a while I thought I forgot how to draw.

Hello Scott, The spotlight should be on the owl, but the tree looked so interesting that I decided to draw it as well. I tried to keep the tree not overpowering the owl, but I got a bit carried away when drawing it. The drawing looked better at the beginning, when the tree was only suggested, but it is too late now to turn the clock back. So, here it the owl, and the tree. Urszula
Wonderful subject. Thank you, Scott!
Second barred owl I’ve drawn. Sorry it wasn’t live but enjoyed the class!
Loved drawing this barred owl. We have a pair living in the woods behind our house. At night they make some weird sounds. Love drawing nature subjects! Thanks again, Scott!
