Struggled a bit with this one. Finally posting!
Thank you Scott. This was a lot of fun. I had a skull in my closet from studying anatomy 30 years ago in Med school .
I am a beginner, but I am really enjoying drawing!
Hello Scott ,
Here is a drawing of the Skull II, I have just finished. It was waiting for my attention for almost a month. I used Pastel paper and charcoal pencils Nr 6, and 8. It was challenging but enjoyable. Love your sessions. Thank you!
Skull
This was fun. Feel I did better on this skull than on the first.
Hi, I’ve just discovered your YouTube channel. Thanks so much for the demonstration -I’d no idea a skull was so complex, it was a real challenge!
Thank you, Cindy! Drawing is a special activity my Dad and I have always shared.
Your skull turned out great, by the way!!
Finally feel I can do no more for this fellow…until I look at it tomorrow that is.
Makes me smile to think of you and your Dad drawing together. You are both very talented and lucky.
This is the creepiest thing I have ever drawn. 🙂 I couldn’t bear to look at the reference photo when I drew the teeth. I just made them up…artistic license.
Now that was a challenge as I have never drawn a skull before, being a “hobby” artist and never had lessons. I must admit though I am getting quicker with my scratching’s 🙂 Thanks Scott for another fun lesson. I watch you live then days later I dont watch and do my own thing… as you can probably tell. Trying to find my own “style”.
That was a challenge for me, but I’m quite happy with the result.
My Dad’s skull…
I think I possibly did a better job on the last one…I know I didn’t get the teeth quite right. But for the first time, My 94 year-old-Dad and I did the lesson together! He has been drawing all his life-just self-taught for a hobby, but he just drew the skull his own way..didn’t follow the lesson. He said he prefers portraits… lol. It was a very great experience for us! I’m adding his drawing here too, as a reply.
This was more interesting to make than the first skull. It was my first time working on toned paper and using the white pencil.
Fun subject. Not sure I got the right amount of teeth. Reminded me of Jim Carey in The Mask.
This skull was easier than the first one we did back in May. It shows , I have improved my drawing skills. Drawing Together is such fun. Thanks Scott

Thought it might be fun to show both skulls, #1 and #2, even though it’s not a fair comparison – different paper, different medium, different pose. I understood the jaw-hinge better the second time around. (Graphite, white pastel pencil, grey arteza paper). Fun, challenging, and great lesson as always, thank you Scott!
My poor rendition… messed up the teeth!
Love to add new approaches to my bag of tricks!
Hi from sunny Woodside NYC Love this drawing
